30-Day Play Promise

Play it for a month. Love it, or send it back.

You can't know how a paddle feels at the kitchen line from a product page. So take any Kove paddle to your courts for up to 30 days. If it's not for you, return it and we'll refund the paddle price.

How it works

  1. 1

    Play

Use your paddle as much as you like for up to 30 days from delivery. Real games, real conditions.

  2. 2

    Email us

Not feeling it? Email hello@kovepickleball.com with your order number (it starts with KV-) and a quick note on why. That helps us make better paddles.

  3. 3

    Post it back

We'll reply with the return address and simple instructions. Pack the paddle and its cover securely and use a tracked service.

  4. 4

    Get your refund

Once it arrives and we've had a quick look, we'll refund the paddle price to your original payment method within 5 business days.

The fine print (it's short)

  • The Play Promise covers Kove paddles and paddle bundles bought directly from kovepickleball.com, for 30 days from the delivery date.
  • One Play Promise return per customer, per product — it's for finding your paddle, not for renting one.
  • Return shipping for a Play Promise return is at your cost. Use a tracked service — we can't refund parcels that go missing on the way back.
  • We refund the price you paid for the paddle. Original shipping charges aren't refunded.
  • Paddles showing damage beyond normal play (cracks from misuse, heavy edge damage from dropping on concrete, modifications) may be refused or partially refunded. We'll always talk to you first.

Your rights

On top of the Australian Consumer Law — never instead of it.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

The Play Promise is a voluntary extra we offer because we back our paddles. It doesn't limit any of your rights.

Play Promise FAQs

Also see Returns & refunds and Warranty.

Does the paddle need to be unused?

No — that's the point. Play with it properly. We just ask that it comes back in reasonable condition for 30 days of normal play: no deliberate damage, cracks from misuse, or modifications like lead tape residue or a re-wrapped handle.

Does it apply to the Duo Set?

Yes. You can return the whole Duo Set, or one paddle from it. If you return one, we'll refund the Current's standalone price minus the Duo Set saving, so it works out the same as if you'd bought one paddle and the balls separately.

Is it available on accessories?

Balls, overgrips and covers aren't covered by the Play Promise (they're consumables), but unused accessories can be returned within 30 days under our standard returns policy.

What if my paddle is faulty?

Faults aren't a Play Promise matter — they're covered by our warranty and the Australian Consumer Law, and we'll cover the return shipping. See our warranty page.

Was it a gift?

The Play Promise still applies from the delivery date. We'll refund the original payment method, or issue store credit to the recipient if the giver prefers.
